Is a good Bud's neighborhood. He has been there for about 20 years. Me and my Ex almost built there. He only has to pay $50 a year. That HOA is not a bunch of Nazis with strict rules BUT.....They will NOT tolerate people letting their yards and houses go to hell. I have heard of some HOAs that will fine you if you get brown spots or weeds. THAT is over the top.
You know me.... I am as Red White and Blue as they come but I HATE stories of people griping about HOAs not letting them fly an American flag. Hear that ALL the time. A. The people KNEW the rules before they moved in B. If you allow one flag, you have to allow all else. When I was married to my ex, we had a neighbor that had FIFTEEN flags on four poles in his yard. It looked like HELL!
I have always said.....When you see what appears to be strict rules or stupid disclaimers...There IS a reason. 98.9% of the time that reason is stupid people.
