We have an HOA..

..and I hate it.. yeah, they do the yards, but only mowing and edging.. I have to do bushes (every week) and trees and whatever else.. and they do a horrible job on the grass.. they edge with a weed-eater, practically running down the streets/sidewalks, so in some places there is a 3-4 inch gap between the cement and grass.. We have a locked privacy fence in the backyard and normally they come on a specific day of the week, so you hafta leave the gate unlocked and open.. So, what do they do? they don't come on that day, then don't tell you what day they ARE coming.. you don't wanna leave your gate open all day every day while at work, so i end up doing our backyard at least half the time - and I hafta mow it with a very small weed eater, which takes forever..

So, the HOA thing ain't all that, either..
