I have never been allergic to anything so I have no idea what an allergic reaction is, or how it feels. But I really doubt it.. this was, well... like I said I never took psychedelics so I can't say what those are like.. but this was like I always 'imagined' they would be. I wasn't hallucinating, but things were distorted. Mostly it was my mind racing at a zillion miles an hour... and thoughts switching and melding and reforming so quickly I couldn't keep up. I felt like I had to concentrate on breathing, that I couldn't unless I concentrated. (not true but it felt that way)
But I think you are right that I had a reaction that was very different than what most people would feel. I don't KNOW that.. but it must be because if everyone felt like I did no one would ever touch the stuff. - JamesJM
