Neither my washer or dryer are digital anything. I really don't think I'd like that because I don't like a lot of bells and whistles. My washing machine is a top-loader Kenmore that must be about 20 years old and my dryer is an 11 year old Whirlpool. Both are pretty basic. I wouldn't have a front-loader washing machine for anything. My daughter had one at her apartment before they moved into their house and got a new washer and dryer. She absolutely hated the front loader and it's required maintenance.
