I get a new hat every trip to Disneyland... which means at minimum one per year, often 2 or 3. NOT the last couple years, however, due to Covid... this is our first trip to Disneyland, normally a yearly event, in two years. For example: I haven't even been on the new Star Wars ride yet... although some of my family has.
As you know my family loves Disneyland.... (que Ramgator and the whining about prices
)... but hey, he's right, it's ridiculous... but we're addicted so what can we do?
Mind if I get a little sentimental? We love all the rides... Pirates, Cars, Indy, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain... BUT....
My Dad's favorite isn't actually a 'ride', it's an 'attraction'.. the "Tiki Room". Know it, or of it? I won't explain.. but you can google it. He loved it, and that's an understatement... so did my Mom. These days... and I know this will sound a bit 'out there'.... I go to the Tiki Room and visit with my Dad and Mom... because I swear they are there with me. I can hear them, I can speak to them. Funny thing is.. even my grandkids accept this and most of them weren't even born when my Dad was alive - NONE of them were born when my Mom was live. BUT... they know, and more than that.. they feel it.
