Some episodes appear preposterous to me-and I'm a great fan of the Bosch series having read several of Connely's books. The last episode I watched involved the blowing up of a refinery and the quick agreement for the bad guy to plead murder out of a fear from the Russians. The original Bosch series involved Connely's recollection of actual cases from the Robbery and Homicide Division at the Hollywood headquarters of the LAPD. He was a reporter from the L.A. Times assigned for a number of years to that division. Many of the episodes involved actual cold cases as well as not so cold ones. They seemed much more realistic than what I've been watching on Bosch Legacy. But I will continue to watch with the hope it gets better.
