It was an excellent restaurant. Best meal I've ever had? No. EXTREMELY expensive but what isn't right now?
I had Linguini with clams, mussels, shrimp. Polenta as an appetizer. Bottle of Chianti (that was VERY good). Most of my family got the Risotto.... which I would have gotten had it been Lamb Risotto day but it was Chicken Risotto day and I'm not a big fan of chicken.
Also worth noting - we had a great waitress.... she chatted with us often. All in all a very fun and enjoyable family dinner. I'd do it more often but $580 for 7 people is a bit much for my budget. - JamesJM
I looked at the menu and lots of photos online yesterday. The food looked good but I didn't see anything that would make me want to jump behind the wheel of a car, spend hours on the highway to get there and back, and plunk down a week's grocery budget on one meal. A couple of customers had posted copies of their bill on Yelp from a couple of years ago and yes, it was expensive. The cost of eating out keeps us eating at home more and more these days. We rarely eat out.
