I agree that the whole thing is odd. I know Dwayne and his wife had a turbulent relationship. There was an incident I read about where she beat him up and busted his lip and broke his tooth. They got married in March 2021 but Dwayne's parents never met her and worse, they've never even spoken to her which is why they refused to attend the funeral Friday in Pittsburgh. They didn't want that to be the first time they met. (Ever heard of a telephone?) Unfortunately for all parties concerned, there IS no perfect time to meet now. Since there are no children involved, I doubt they ever will because I don't think his parents approved of the marriage in the first place.

Haskins' parents will be having two memorials of their own. One in New Jersey because that's where Dwayne was born and the other will be in Maryland where he went to school.
