I didn't even know they made a Planet of the Apes sequel, (a new one).
Last night I rented the movie "Nightmare Alley". Another high production filled with good actors movie..... and ehhhh, just ain't working for me... and I say it like that because I haven't finished it. Still about 30 minutes to go and I was going to finish up this morning but sadly... I don't really give a flying rat's patootie how it ends. And that's tragic because....
I really liked the idea of this movie. Carnie's. And "visually" it's excellent. It began interestingly enough but, again just for me, it just never went anywhere, or anywhere I gave a damn about that is.
Note - this is NOT a bad review and a thumbs down. Like I said, it's very well acted, filmed, quite excellent visually... you just may LOVE it. I'm just saying it did not work for me.
