Watched "The Miracle Worker" (1962)

I was flipping through the channels this morning and bumped into this movie. I've seen The Miracle Worker before (including the remake years later with Patty Duke playing Anne Sullivan) but it's been years and years. I'd forgotten a lot of it.

I loved Anne Bancroft as Anne Sullivan and Patty Duke as Helen Keller. Bancroft got the Oscar for Best Actress and Patty Duke got the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for this movie. They both deserved it. That scene of them in the dining room where the teacher is trying to tame the student.... wow. Just an excellent movie.
