I read that the HMS Prince Of Wales and HMS Repulse have been hit BIG TIME. They are not that deep. The Carriers at Midway are REALLY deep and very far from land. IDIOT Scavengers forget that most of these ships are not just wrecks but graves. Deep wrecks CAN be hit too. Robert Ballard said a few years ago that he sometimes wishes he never released the site of the Titanic. Very rich people have hired dive teams to go down and "find" items and parts of the ship. I recall Eva Hart, a Titanic survivor, saying just before she passed away that she wished Ballard had never even found the Titanic.
