Frank and I just got finished watching it. First time I've ever seen a movie with a disclaimer before the opening credits even roll that the movie has "tobacco depictions". My first thought was... "So?" There was also violence, blood, and an attempted rape but there weren't disclaimers about that. I just found it odd.
Loved the movie. Ariana DeBose was fantastic in the role of Anita. You couldn't take your eyes off her whenever she was onscreen. I also loved the fact that the actors all sung their parts themselves unlike in the original version where the singing was dubbed. We're going to watch the original next Saturday and compare the two. We've both seen the original but it's been years so we've forgotten a lot of it.
