sitting on the course with her mom trying her best to console her. Something is wrong. Maybe the loss of her father. I don't know. Something is wrong but this is not the same Mikaela Shiffrin . Lets hope she comes back in her last two events.
I'm no psychologist but I think the better you are, the more is expected, and the more pressure there is. And the longer you are successful everything gets blown way out of proportion. Bottom line is I just don't think this would have happened if she had lost some of those world cup events that she won.
Clearly, (well maybe not so clear-but to me it is) something is or was mental . Who knows ?
