Just watched a lady from Pennsylvania compete in the luge... sad result. Crashed on one run, did stellar on another... point is... she didn't spend her life preparing for this thinking "China", or 'USA', or hoping to make YOU happy... she wanted to represent, to maybe just beyond all realistic hope medal. She wanted to prove herself, and no doubt give her family a smile.
Can't say it better than that... if you don't get it, or don't care, or think YOUR perception trumps hers... then you don't get it, and what's sadder, you never will. - JamesJM
