I'm an alpine fan for some obvious reasons. I enjoy the "stories" too-ones like Mikaela Shiffrin's emotional battles following the loss of her father who, just about everyone, has come to know over Shiffrin's successes. Did not enjoy seeing the US women's GS skier Nina Obrien's horrific fall just short of the finish. Taken by stretcher off the course with fractured leg. Already had surgery-Wow!. Chen was unbelievable as were several other skaters that were earlier in the program. I think what made it for him was he saved the most difficult regiment for the last-showed how much strength he still had.
Love the Winter Olympics. My only complaint is they should not have been in that part of the country. No snow-just man made. Brutal cold-horrific winds. Terrible courses for the Alpine events.
