You've got years of experience.... and more importantly you truly love it.
BUT... I hear ya. A few years ago, you may remember, I tried to start a new band so I could hopefully play more of the songs, genre, that I like most. It didn't turn out well, to say the least. I discovered that guys of my generation are every bit as goofy as the younger generation.
One of the guys I met with wanted to be a "Beatles" cover band... yeah, that's going to happen. Another, during a practice session, kept requesting we play KC and the Sunshine Band tunes... I think I recognized one of them.
So yeah, starting a new group is a challenge, to say the least. - JamesJM
