Well, I kept asking..

what were the end result, final, bottom line risks and never got a straight answer.. but, from what I was able to deduce, while going through an artery to the heart, they can blow the artery nd then you don't have an artery in whatever limb they went through.. and I asked, "so you're talking amputation?".. and the reply was, "well, I've never seen that happen in person"

So, I'm guessing amputation if they blow the artery..
