When this photo was taken I had yet to be conceived. After dad was killed in the war she did what she could to keep me outdoors and involved in hunting and fishing. She was also was quite the poker player and for a short time was a dealer in Tahoe. A lovely woman who enjoyed her martinis. Died at 93.
BTW: the radio broadcaster she beat was the famous Walter Winchell and on his Sunday nationwide news he honored her for out shooting him.
