Back then everyone in my grammar school class was rooting for the Yankee's... I felt compelled to be the rebel. Plus Roberto Clemente is one of my all-time favorite players. It felt great standing alone against the masses.

These days I root for several teams and when those I root for play each other I kind of let karma rule in deciding who to root for... which can change year to year. Yeah, I'm a fickle baseball fan.

The Rams are the only team in professional sports that I am locked into by blood. It's odd because I've actually tried to "pick" a favorite team in other sports but it just doesn't work that way.... I think being a true fan requires divine intervention. God is Ram fan.
