Hanks character is dying from Aids. Denzel Washington's character is his attorney representing him in a wrongful termination lawuit. Attorney visits his client to prepare him for his all important testimony in front of the jury. Hanks asks Washington to sit and listen to his favorite opera. Another one of my favorite all time one scenes. This video doesn't give justice to the single most important line in the movie. After Hanks is through walking around with his IV and emotionally explaining the opera Washington says OK I have to go. Hanks then says (not shown in the video) "but what about the questions you had to prepare me on" (something like that). Washington puts away all his notes he was going to talk about and says"No-you're ready".
Tremendous moving scene.
