Could have had it for years now, free (sort of), because it comes free to AT&T Cell customers.... BUT... I never paid any attention so didn't set it up until a couple of days ago. I'm glad I did...
I had pretty much given up on finding anything I really wanted to see on Netflix, Prime, and Hulu. I don't think HBOMax has more movies, (maybe), nor did I see a lot of the 'newer movies' I'd like to see BUT... I found many I have seen and would like to watch again.
I could be very wrong about what I'm about to say - HBOMax definitely has more old classics... good ones, award winners... I say I could be wrong because searching on Netflix, Prime, and Hulu is next to impossible... so I may just not know how to find old classics on those services.
Went thru HBOMax's library and marked the movies I want to re-watch... couple dozen to start with I'd guess. Watched two of them so far... last night and again this morning. "Electric Horseman" and "The Pelican Brief".... tonight I'm going for "The Maltese Falcon" and "Yojimbo"... I have never seen Yojimbo.
Also coming soon to my TV is an old classic I have never seen - "The Blob"... with Steve McQueen.
