that I was fortunate enough, blessed enough, to have actually witnessed that game - that event - that miracle.

Not sure how it happened but somehow my youngest grandson had never seen the movie, until last night. That's nearly as miraculous as the game itself considering how often I watch that movie.

So last night Elijah and I are home alone and I treat him to "Miracle"..... after the movie ends Elijah is soaring in the clouds... so we watch, I think, every YouTube video regarding the game... highlights, interviews, we watch it all. This morning we wake to continue... Al Michael interviews, Eruzione interviews, whoever interviews.

The 'miracle' never wanes, it never pales, if anything it grows even more miraculous as father time marches on.

In a way I feel guilty... that I was witness to that 'miracle' and most today were not. Why me? I don't honestly know if anything like that can ever happen again and that actually saddens me regarding today's generation... that they, in all likelihood, will never witness anything even close to what occurred at Lake Placid. Although... miraculously, they actually can.... by watching it on film. Actual miracles are like that... they never pale. - JamesJM
