In recent months, when at the Station, I have heard a LOT of dispatches on the radio for Overdoses. I mean a LOT! It has always astonished me that someone can take a drug or med that can kill you right here and now. But I have seen over my last 25+ years with the Jacksonville Fire Dept. Our Country is medicated as hell! People pop heavy pain meds for a twisted ankle like they are candy.
