I'm not familiar with digital cymbals, but I think you're making the right call using regular cymbals... I'll hafta tell you about the pedal board I had made sometime - for my guitar pedals.. I need to put it together first, and then will shoot photos, but its super cool.. green under lighting, and the pedals are all powered by a rechargeable battery pack that powers the pedals through a magnetic strip that the pedals attach to.. Its REALLY cool..
