So, speaking of frozen pipes..

February 15, 2021 06:14AM
Wife informed me today that there is no cold water coming out of the main bathroom vanity, nor out of the tub in the same bathroom.. I examined ALL the faucets in the house and they all work properly.. But in that bathroom, no cold water, even with valve full open.. shut that sink valve off, and have no water at all from bathtub.. But, if you turn the sink hot water full blast, you get hot water out of the tub.. shut the sink valve off, the tub dies, as well.. turn the sink cold on all the way, you then get hot water out of the tub..

So, to get water out of the tub, you hafta open either the sink hot or cold water faucet valves.. Doesn't make sense to me.. Any plumbers in the house that know exactly what that means? I'm sure the answer will include a frozen pipe (since it was in single digits overnight) but we're on a slab and, as none of the sinks/tubs are on outside walls..

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
