They are same pair I have.
I am an audiophile, so I follow this stuff pretty close.
I also have VERY good ears. At least that's what my doc tells me and everyone else lol.
So volume capability is NOT something I focus on. I look for bass range and timbre.
However, I also own a pair of Beats Studio3. Now, they are indeed extremely loud.
But they also sound like rattle cans. They pick up on high-frequency bass well, but that's about it.
I have not checked out AirPods, but I can tell you that Bose makes some GREAT earbuds. Wired or wireless.
I'm just not willing to fork over that kind of cash for earbuds because I would wear the f*** out of them. I only wear earbuds at the gym, and I sweat A LOT.
I don't care how "waterproof" or "sweat-proof" something is; I will wear those things out.
