by 'we' I mean my family. Gavin, another grandson, took lessons from him as well, a couple of years ago... he thinks he might have played at Bullard.

No idea if he's native to this area. I've met him but that was two year's ago... since you've brought it up I think I'll go with Ashton to his next lesson and see if I can find out.
