He's from Firebaugh... small town about 20 miles north of my home town.... very small agricultural community.
I know 20 miles probably sounds like a lot to most of you.... but out here on the westside of Fresno County 20 miles is considered 'local'... literally. We know the farmers there, they know the farmers here... and have for our entire lives.
BUT... I actually don't know Josh's family... well, I have met a few. All my Firebaugh friends know the family well. Also, he played at Reedley J.C... same place my grandson played, (not at the same time, my grandson is younger).... and Reedley was VERY proud of him, (as they should be)... so nearly every game 'updates' on Josh in Wyoming then Buff. were announced all game long. Josh returns to both Firebaugh H.S. and Reedley J. C. often... he's VERY supportive of his home town/schools. - JamesJM
