A subtle ache that radiates from my sternum to left rib cage. I had the same thing checked about a year and a half ago. Pretty certain it's my acid reflux again but I WANT TO BE SURE! I wanna look into a Ultrasound checkup. We USED to get them from the Fire Dept. I called the company who did them and I'd be FOUR months out on the list. Those scans check EVERYTHING! They check from the carotid arteries down to the testicles. They will find anything abnormal. When the City Of Jacksonville offered them to Police and Fire, those check ups saved SEVERAL lives. IMO, they SHOULD be routine by Family Doctors.
I guess I'm becoming a worry nut. It's just that cancer is a HUGE killer of Firemen who are close to retired age or not long after (That's me!)
