To ask about Ultrasound screening / Physical exams (If they have them) I called the number, Dialed 2.........Waited through 8 more options to find I had to dial 3..........Was put on hold for 5 minutes............When someone picked up, I was cut off. I'm just trying to find the answer (It's YES OR NO) to ONE question.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope I can avoid a serious medical issue with several / MANY irons in the fire (Labs, Specialists, P.A.'s, follow up after follow up etc etc etc)
Over my career, it has pissed me off when people call 911 to be seen by a Doctor. With time, I can easily see why people will do so. It is such a ROYAL pain in the ass!! IF / WHEN you talk to someone, it now is often MONTHS before you are seen. In that time, what concerns you do have will either go away or get worse or to the point where it's too late.
It's why I laugh when I see Health Public Service things on TV.... "Be sure to get a check up!" "Ask your Doctor about......"
