I was watching the Oregon-Cal football game tonight. The Oregon quarterback is Tyler Shough. The announcers kept pronouncing his name weird... and my ears kept hearing a "k" sound whenever they said his name. So, I looked it up on the net. I found a Tweet that Tyler himself wrote about 3 years ago and he states that his last name is pronounce "Shuck".

Are you serious? Nobody in their right grammatical mind who is seeing that name for the first time is going to pronounce it "Shuck".
They might say: Shoo, Shuff, or even Shug.... but Shuck? No way.
