Little town called Kingsburg. His brother is Hall of Fame defensive back Jimmy Johnson.
Interesting run of decathlon success for our area. Bob Mathias, Olympic decathlon champion in 1948 and 1952 is a graduate of Tulare Union High (my alma mater). Four later Rafer Johnson took second in the event in 1956 and won in 1960.
