I was at Ft. Monmouth N.J. for Ali/Frazier 1

We mutinied... we were in school, just out of basic. Our instructor said we couldn't listen to the fight. It was actually a quick recap after each round, they couldn't broadcast the fight live.

Luckily we had one guy in the class that was one of those body builder types and outranked our Instructor... which did NOT give him authority over our instructor but his muscles did.. so our instructor relented and we listened the recaps. - JamesJM
