He was in a movie with her, played her father in the movie "Walk The Line".. his name is Danny Beene... and in fact...

On my motorcycle trip to St. Louis one year I left St. Louis, (after the game), and went and spent a couple days with Danny down at his home in Alabama... and we talked about Reese quite a bit.. well, we talked about all the actors he's worked with.

They still speak, occasionally, not often... his impression of her was very good, he liked her.
