Think I read that back in the 60's , around 15 million house holds watched the Christmas Special
last year was barely 4 million house holds
now days with cable tv and all the streaming services , thats probably to be expected
the weird thing to me is , who actually owned the rights to Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown has aired on ABC for like the last 20 years
and seeing how ABC is owned by Disney , I was surprised they just didn't move it to Disney Plus , Disney seemed like the perfect place for Charlie Brown to end up , but they must not have actually owned the rights , and Apple simply out bid them
I would be curious if Disney was even in the running , or even made an offer
I do remember a few years ago , when they came out with that Charlie Brown animated movie , they polled several kids , and most going to the movie , had never even heard of Charlie Brown, it was kinda clear , even with Charlie Brown on network TV , most kids had never ever watched it
