In Feb of this year I got a shot of Zoster (Shingrix). Yesterday I got the follow-up booster.... both my GP and the pharmacist at Walmart told me that's it.... I'm inoculated for life. No more Shingles shots.
In the last several years many of my friends got Shingles... every one of them told me it's probably the most horrible thing a human can go through. I've never really worried about the flu, mostly because I've had the flu so seldom in my life.... maybe twice? But Shingles.... my friends scared the hell out of me. It's the only inoculation I've ever really made sure I got.
