Yeah, I knew you lived there and thought you might answer. I knew where Fenton is, we stayed at a Drury Inn on I-44 there (or near there) one year. I had found the modot website but couldn't find any info on it. The local conditions link is very helpful though. It shows a bunch of dots in about the area we had to exit, mostly ramp closings, but doesn't appear that the entire highway is closed. I'm tempted to try it, as I'd probably rather detour through Belleville again than have get near downtown. Not looking forward to having to try to change lanes at the last minute pulling a trailer....
