One of the biggest misconceptions..

is that there is a lot of math involved in computer programming.. Actually couldn't be further from the truth - at least the languages I use to program: C# (not C+) Java, XML, Actionscript and HTML.. That's more math involved in drawing some of the 3D models, but mostly just dividing 360 degrees by whatever to accomplish your goal.. If there actually was a on of math involved, I wouldn't be doing it - and there may be with other languages that I don't use..
