I had a bit of a setback after my last post reporting I had it beat. Nothing serious... just lingering low-key symptoms, which continue. But again, I have not been tested... Covid-19 or some other virus? I don't know... just very, very suspicious since my daughter did test positive for Covid-19.
In some very good news... been following closely a very close friend of mine, Ruthie, nearing 90 years old, who contracted Covid-19 about 2 weeks ago, or so. She's in a Senior Citizen home. Her symptoms were mild, at first, growing a bit worse over about a week... and now gone, she tested negative. Unfortunately, in moving to a room where they place those who test positive, (only 2 in her senior citizen community), she fell and broke two bones... lower leg and wrist. Her daughter-in-law who is reporting to me daily said her reaction was anger. She got pissed... her family is convinced her anger was such that it helped combat the Covid-19.
Her husband, also in the same senior citizen community, and suffering dementia, has remained negative for Covid-19 throughout.
We've added a week to our quarantine... I got sick about a week after my daughter tested positive. And we'll probably add yet another week since we are fine and have no reason to be out and about anyway. - JamesJM
