You cannot miss Jupiter and Saturn... bright two objects high in the sky slightly south. Mars the same but you'll have to stay up later to see Mars. Sagittarius and Scorpio also south but also lower on the horizon than Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Seriously... you can't miss them.
The brighter, btw, is Jupiter. If you have a tripod for your camera you can see the rings around Saturn. Maybe even without a tripod if you can hold VERY steady... I cannot.
