Very glad to hear that your son is on the mend and that your wife and daughter tested negative. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
A week to get results back? That's crazy! I got tested the morning of the 6th and had my 100%-concrete-foolproof-we-think-it's-accurate result on the morning of the 8th (NEGATIVE).

I consider myself very fortunate that my son had a very mild illness and my wife and daughter tested negative and hopefully me too, but in a weird way I kinda won't mind if I test positive and be one of the fortunate asymptotic types just so I can get the unknown of it over with and know I probably won't get it again hopefully.(at least until there is a vaccine I hope)
Yeahhhhhhh...you probably don't need to read this.
“Wait. I can catch Covid twice?” my 50-year-old patient asked in disbelief. It was the beginning of July, and he had just tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19, for a second time — three months after a previous infection.Vox
