So as many of you may already know, my 18 year old son tested positive last week after coming down with cold symptoms.....took him to urgent care on June 30th just to be safe and quarantined him as soon as he started feeling sick the day before. It took over a week and finally got the results and he was positive, luckily he got over it pretty quickly and is currently symptom free. He retested today as a matter of fact
Luckily the rest of the family (daughter 15, wife 49 and me 48) never had any symptoms and my wife and daughter tested negative yesterday.... since I had to take a specific test from my work I just waited to do that one which was today....ouch!!! That was no fun.....basically stick a 5" qTip straight through nose to your throat. My leg is still twitching lol
Very fortunate my work gives me a two week paid time off for this and hopefully if all goes well I'll be back to work right at the two week mark.
I consider myself very fortunate that my son had a very mild illness and my wife and daughter tested negative and hopefully me too, but in a weird way I kinda won't mind if I test positive and be one of the fortunate asymptotic types just so I can get the unknown of it over with and know I probably won't get it again hopefully.(at least until there is a vaccine I hope)
Hope all of you are doing well
That's all good news so far and glad to hear it. Keep us updated. Let us know about your test.
