I had a Captain ORDER me to shut up (in a fun way.....................sorta) when I spewed about 4-5 one liners / puns in 15 minutes. About 3 years ago, was pumping the Engine at a second alarm fire when a old school savy vet Lt ran towards me, with helmet on. mask hanging and tools in hand, he yelled my last name a couple of times with urgency. I had four lines off the engine and even a foam operation going on. I THOUGHT something was big time wrong as he approached. I'm looking at my gauges, water level etc. He gets to me and asks............C'MON!!! I need the joke of the day!!
