To what at least I thought it was about. To memorialize a guy who lived a great life and looked at life as a great thing. I love the posts about things that bring out stories about what people remember from their pasts...be it music, TV, movies, jobs. I like posts about foodies new recipes, peoples gardens, peoples grand kids/families. A place to bring up graduations, new babies coming on board, our friends going forward to their next place, talking other sports other then the main sport team in all our lives.
This virus thing is totally being overdone....it is very easy to get any info you may want across the internet....Man the header says it all...."Drinks are on Us"....to me that's supposed to mean talk about reminiscences, trading stories.....
How about we drop all things virus and leave that up to those who want to continue do it on their own....make this Pub...."A Happy Go Away to Zone"?
IMO Bucky would have approved of having civil discussions about the virus.
The issue is not info, it's different perspectives. That can be sorted out and debated in civil ways. Remember discussions are not just for those in them but also for those with an interest in just reading them.
One example is masks. Some say they're not needed and some say they will make a big difference. That's not "info," that's different interpretations of the info. Differences that naturally lead to discussion. If it stays civil it certainly serves a purpose.
We're in the middle of a global pandemic which affects us all in big and small ways, it impacts our jobs, some of us might know people who have gotten it, as Rams fans we know it could impact the season--it's huge. Why would people NOT discuss that?
