the Beagle we lost a couple of years ago was the master at getting whatever was on your plate.. she would just sit there, quietly, watching you eat, not moving a muscle, waiting patiently.. and the second you look away - BANG - she jumps up and gets your chicken breast, or burger, or whatever she was eyeballing.. and good lord could she swallow t quick - like you were gonna take it back, or something..
