He has a home and is well-cared for. I kept scrolling down and reading comments and there's a video on YouTube of his owner talking about the dog. He showed up at their door as a puppy 4 years ago and they've had him ever since. They live in Georgia (the country, not the state) and the dog is a local celebrity. His name is Kupata or something like that. It means "sausage".
