I remember as a kid a neighbor up the street had dedicated an entire den to a railroad track. He had trains going every which way through tunnels, up mountains, across rivers, etc. I was amazed and could just sit and watch-which I'm sure was the object. Nothing else was in the room except for a couple of viewing chairs. Very elaborate. Can't recall how it ended because I lived on that same block from grammar school up through graduation from H.S. Maybe the too just moved away.
