Ram23, no longer active on the board.... but a true Ram fan... built a model railroad in his garage some years ago. It was incredible. I have photos.
Phil, Ram23, and his wife decided that getting up in age they would be better off moving closer to civilization.. (I can't blame them)... but that meant ---- the model railroad came down. It's but a memory.
I can't even imagine the work, love, and dedication it took to build his railroad.... I'll NEVER accomplish anything even close... and then to lose it? BUT... Phil himself, took it in stride, or at least he seemed too to me. And I believe he DID put the past aside. Quite possible that I took it harder than he did.
I'm not in contact with Phil these days... but I have the photos. And I treasure them. - JamesJM
