After attending for several days with a dying friend of mine at his home where no one was wearing masks and were hugging and crying with my wife and I who were wearing masks began to experience a high fevor along with horrific sore throat making it difficult to swallow. Our doctor ordered the COVID test for both my wife and I Monday morning. We did and during the test we received a call to get over to my friends house quickley. We arrived and my closet friend since grade school had died. Again no one ther wearing masks, and certainly not practicing social distancing-understandable given the circumstances. Later arriving home I was really sick and good hardly get into bed. Couldn't swallow anything and my fevor was at 100-a slight fevor. That was MOnday and I have seen a slow decline in symptoms. Still difficult to swallow even water. Barb has been symptom free. Today we received results. Barb tested negative and for some reason they can't find my test results. My wife believes its not Covid but I may have gotten a bacterial infection from my physical contact with my dying friend-holding his hands, his bald head, his chest, etc. But I am better now and beginning to swallow water. Hope they find my results
