Actually I didn't know this...

but I am not surprised by it. I don't delve into sports personalities much... not even with football. So unless someone does something that makes really big news, or something outrageous, I am not likely to notice, or have an opinion about them.

But, and again, this doesn't surprise me... the few interviews of F1 drivers that I have seen I quickly reviewed, (in mind), after reading your post and yes... there absolutely does exist a haughty demeanor in most if not all of them... or so it seems.

Perhaps, just wild conjecture here, certain sports attract certain personality types? I'm thinking tennis... doesn't it seem there is a much higher percentage of tennis players with anger issues than in most other sports? Now I'm not saying a know that, or even really believe it... but it does seem that way. - JamesJM
